Valerie Taylor, MBA
Community Outreach Administrator

A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration. A degree from Myers University; Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Sociology. Including a Masters in Business Administration.

Her love for family, lead her back to the Cleveland area, where she has a heart for people and possesses more than 30 years of progressive experience in working with youth and families.

She is extremely proud of the spiritual gifts God has given her, giving him all the praise. She also continues to be committed to let her light shine, spiritually, socially, in a variety of areas in communications.

Some of these include positions such as serving as the Human Services Ministry Director of the Avon Avenue Baptist Church, Vice Chairperson for Avon Avenue Baptist Church Trustee, retired Probation Officer 2, Parent Project Facilitator, On-site Mediation, as well a GAL for Lake County.

She has been a Mentor and facilitator of groups for youth's Life Skills Programs, Urban Garden site, within various public and private companies. She facilitated medical intervention programs to assist families in getting glasses, special needs tutoring and Psychiatric testing.

Her responsibilities included monitoring, providing a support network for families and students, who want to enhance their life by furthering their education and providing services to families. She assist families who are in crisis. In her spare time she loves listening to jazz and gospel music

Rev. Dr. Thomas Gilmore, CFO

A graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Bachelors in Education, further earning his Doctorate of Ministry and Masters of Divinity degrees from Ashland Theological Seminary. Recently retired, he continues his love to teach at Ashland Theological Seminary.

Dr. Gilmore is passionate about making sure that each student grows in their spiritual walk, rather than just completing an educational process. He cites his time at ATS as a help in his own continual growth as a wounded healer.

Dr. Gilmore also serves as a local pastor, and his passions are reading, teaching and preaching the Word of God. His relationship with Christ originally blossomed through the experience of getting to know his wife, Dianthia.

Yvelyn C. Hamilton MSSA, LISW

A graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Mandel School of Applied Social Science, I've worked in the field of Social Work for over 40 years.

I started in the field of Substance abuse/Chemical Dependency and ended in the field of homelessness.

Over the years I have been involved in many community projects, which currently include the Cleveland Clergy Alliance (CCA), Road to Serenity Retreat (RTS), Neighborhood Leadership Development Program (NLDP), just to name a few. I have also been involved in writing, directing and producing several skits, short plays and major production. I am founder the of MarDon’Yve production under the direction of Kingdom Alliance Productions.

Loreal Moore

A graduate from the Cleveland State University, Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education - Mild to Moderate Disabilities K-12.

She's also an advocate, mentor and mother and thoroughly enjoys helping others.

As a busy mother of two, she still makes time to serve those in need. She firmly believes that only what we do for Christ will last.

Rev. Dr. Leonard King, Navigator Emeritus

A graduate of Kent State University, he earned a doctorate of divinity from the Universal Life College in Modesto, California, and certification as a dean from the American Baptist Theological Seminary in Nashville.

The Rev. Leonard T. King, a native of Montgomery Ala., resides in Canton, he formerly served for 20 years as pastor of Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church in Akron, Ohio before accepting the call to Pastor at the Solid Rock Baptist Church for 7 years, which led to his present assignment at First Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition, Dr. King is Founder and Executive Director of LTK Life skills Center in Akron, focused on youth, through his great outreach efforts, in February of 1994, the city of Akron celebrated “L.T. King Day.”

Dr. King feels that only teaching and living the Word of God are his true accomplishments.

Carol Bunn

A graduate of the University Akron, Associate Degree, Lincoln University, Music Therapy Certificate, Vander Cook College of Music and Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. A Marine Corp Veteran with extensive experience in service, outreach and positions in management.

Carol Bunn, St Aloysius Hunger Center Director, which includes management of emergency food pantry, weekly, community meals, monthly grocery distribution, home delivery of groceries to some 220 seniors. She belongs to several professional organizations to include the National Association of Paralegals, Association of Bankruptcy Judicial Assistants, Mary Chapter Eastern Stars, Carol is a Certified Bankruptcy Judicial Assistant.

Kim L. Donaldson

A graduate of Kent Sate University, Bachelor of Arts, Corrections and Licensed Social Worker.

She began her career working as a Probation Officer for Juvenile Court. During that time, she also became a Licensed Social Worker for the State of Ohio, where she remains a member.

After fourteen years, she left Juvenile Court to pursue employment with the United States Government, where she worked as a Federal Probation Officer, for twenty-one years, before retiring in 2015.

Kim accepted Christ at a young age and has been active in church most of her life. She is a deaconess, has taught Sunday School, and sang in the choir, just to name of few things. She also graduated from Moody Bible School and has taken several classes at her church. She is currently representing Concord Baptist Church, as a Community Navigator, where Rev. Lorenzo Norris is pastor.

Kim has been married to Gregory Donaldson for 32 years, has two children; Monique and Gregory II, and two grandchildren; Major and Oliver. Her motto is “All things work together for good, for them that love the Lord.”

Toni Nwankwo

I am a graduate of Kent State University (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) and Indiana Wesleyan University (Master of Science in Management). Since retiring from Cleveland Clinic, I am humbled by the opportunities to continue to positively impact those placed in my path.

Having grown up as a Pastor’s daughter, and now a Pastor’s wife, I’ve held many challenging ministry roles which have taught me the value of servant leadership.

I believe that lives are enriched when people have the right resources and connections to help them live productively.

I am grateful for this opportunity at CCA to help our valuable senior citizen community. It’s a win/win. When seniors are enabled to live their best life, they can continue to sow into the lives of others.

Some of the things I love to do are spending time with my family and friends, being in nature, reading, and writing.

I attended Cuyahoga Community College and Dyke College where I received certificates in Data Processing, Stenography and all affiliated Business Training.
I worked for AT&T for 32 years and retired from the Management Training Department in 1998.
I have been attending Warrensville Rd. Community Baptist Church for the past 25 years were I’m the Office Administrator, Head Deaconess and Leader of our Save Our Babies Ministry.
I see the Cleveland Clergy Alliance as a way to continue to help our senior community and make them aware of the opportunities they are entitled to.
